1) DMC Lamborghini Aventador LP900-4 Molto Veloce – Matt Blue – 20pcs Limited Edition
At HYC Models, we are proud to announce a special collaboration with Make Up Co., Ltd, in the form of 2 special versions Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50º Anniversario. These 2 special versions are exclusively built for HYC Models and are limited to 10 Coupe and 10 Roadster only.
Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50º Anniversario is already a very special car in itself, as it was released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini. The real car is limited to just 100 Coupe and 100 Roadster worldwide.
On the Coupe, it is Verde Artemis for the body colour, a very beautiful and rare shade of green. It is the same colour which Lamborghini used on their Murcielago 40th Anniversary limited edition. To give it a bit more exclusivity, the wheels are in Gold colour and the brake callipers in the tri-colour of Italian flag. Whereas on the Roadster, it is Blue Cepheus, or otherwise known as baby blue, light blue with a pearl-like effect. Yellow brake callipers and black wheels giving the car a stealth look. We don’t want to bore you with further details so please check out the photos here. Yet another beautiful car model and masterpiece from Make Up Co., Ltd from Japan.
New in the EIDOLON FORMULA series from Make Up Japan, here is the 1:43 scale McLaren MP4/6 as raced in the 1991 Formula 1 Japanese GP. After 53 laps in the Suzuka circuit, Marlboro McLaren Honda claimed their one-two finish with Gerhard Berger finishing 1st and closely followed by Ayrton Senna. Berger had his first win of the season while Senna was eventually crowned F1 Champion of the 1991 season.
As is expected from Make Up Japan, a lot of effort is spent on ensuring this 1:43 scale model is as close to the real car as possible. In the first step, 3D modelling is used to digitalise the shape of the model in order to reproduce the resin body. Apart from the resin main body, other parts of the model are also made with a mix of white metal and brass which you can see in the below images.
On the other hand, the front and rear suspension arms are another area that is faithfully reproduced by what is called a “lost-wax brass casting”method. The result is amazing and I will let the images speak for themselves.
Last but not least, the two-tone fluorescence red and white livery on the car is represented in the high quality paint job. The paint job on Make Up models are always thin and crisp, so you can see the beautiful body shape and all details on the car body are not lost.
In year 2013, Lamborghini celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the company since 1963. The Aventador LP 720-4 50º Anniversario is a limited edition super car released to commemorate this special milestone and is limited to 100 coupe and 100 roadster worldwide. The coupe was formally unveiled at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, featuring the Giallo Maggio body colour which is exclusive to this model. The colour, which means “Yellow of May” in Italian, was chosen because yellow is the most popular colour among all Lamborghini cars and that Lamborghini company was founded in May. The real car was based on the Aventador LP 700-4 with a lot of modifications to the engine and aerodynamics parts.
Introducing this new hand built model from the EIDOLON range, Make Up Japan has again faithfully reproduced this highly exclusive super car in 1/43 scale and is available in 7 standard colours. On this hand built model, you will notice the re-designed front intake flaps, rear diffusers and exhausts area, etc. The models are all accurately designed and built to the highest standard. See for yourself this tiny gem in the photos below, showcasing the EIDOLON EM285A Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50º Anniversario in Giallo Maggio. Coming soon in March 2014.

On 17-June-2012, Ferrari made history after winning in GTE Pro class of Le Mans 24 Hours race in Circuit de la Sarthe. Team AF Corse entered two cars in Le Mans 24 Hours 2012, No.51 and No.71 which finished 1st and 5th in GTE Pro class respectively. During practice, No.51 car had an accident and was beyond repair. This resulted in the team having to use a spare T-car for the race and No.51 had to start from the back of the grid as a result. Eventually, it was a dream win for No.51, piloted by Giancarlo Fisichella, Gianmaria Bruni and Toni Vilander.
This hand built model is crafted after the No.51 race-winning car, which has a different colour than the usual car. Top quality resin model car from Make Up Japan, in scale 1/43. Limited Edition of 50pcs only. Due to arrive HYC Models around end of June, reserve/pre-order by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
